like it is no big deal... she comes around the corner and into the living room ON HER FEET! obviously she has been working on this for a while, but seriously it still is a shocker. the littlest thing on 2 feet & i love it! i know that biffs and bruises are on there way, but i am enjoying the miracle of it all that she no longer needs 4 limbs to be mobile, but just 2. she is so proud of herself it is unbearably cute.

i never knew what kind of dad justin would be- there was just no context to refer to. so i can't say that i am surprised b/c i really had no idea, but i should of guessed... he's just himself and that is actually a really good dad. i could say a lot (and he's heard the whole ear full), but i think their are three main things that justin does really well: 1) takes/makes time for us 2) has fun & makes us apart of it 3) loves me, which makes us all happy =)

simple.

my life has been simplified since I became a mom.my concept of time. use to be segmented by years, seasons or even stages of life, like college- 4 years. now days, months and moments. Q: how old is Lillian? A: 11.5 months. AND when she was first born it was 10 days, then 5 weeks, then at about 3 months i stuck with telling time by months (but not even full months 1/2). i have observed that months is the time of choice til your child is about 2- then you can switch to years, but an extra clause of 1/2, almost, just... is included well through grade school. so time, i don't usually know what day of the week it is, but i track you in moments of bliss, months of big events and days of our lives.
